Look this is the place my Great Grandmother went, my Grandmother went, my Mother went, and I went for YEARS. My kids will go here and their kids and if any of my descendants love me they will go here. You will be greeted by a DOORMAN, you will have candy for CENTS, you will have the BEST ice cream you EVER had. You will have the best service you’ve ever had since the 70s, come everyone, gays queens and straights. Clown cone will not only be the home you want but the home you need. I love you clown cone!!!

Omgoodness I'm shocked I haven't reviewed them!!! I'm a transplant from Detroit and many moons ago I was introduced to clown cone. I have visited most often to get their Superman ice cream that reminds me of home. Over the years I have tried so many other options that you can't go wrong with any of them. The other thing I come for is the the candy. Reminding me of the candy lady house from my childhood. Frooties, chews, wax bottles and so much more mange me happy everytime. The owner told me today that he's been collecting the clowns for over 49 years. That's legacy. I pray that clown cone is operating for generations to come. Not posting the quart of superman because I don't want people to get it. ☺️

I feel like a kid again every time I step into Clown Cone. Great ice cream, food, snacks and Knick Knack for such a great price.

Quirky little place that offers ice cream scoops, sundae’s, slushies, milkshakes, floats, cookies and a ton of candy. We tried 2 different flavors of ice cream and really enjoyed them! Peanut Butter Caramel Cookie Dough was delicious and so was Buckeyelicious. Prices are cheap! The staff was friendly. Its a small space, not a lot of room to move around so it can get cramped in there with several people. They have a couple tables to sit inside. Will be back to try more ice cream flavors.

This place is full of candy and cute toys and loyal people. And it seems to have friendly staff. However - as much as I absolutely adore supporting local ice cream places this one is only for those of us without dietary restrictions. When we asked which of their ice cream was gluten free the attendants were both very nice. But they said they’d never heard of it. So we thanked them and left. If you like ice cream please go and keep up the local ice cream tradition. I can’t in good conscious rate people who don’t mark the nut free, dairy free and gluten free ice cream and also keep the scoops separated. It’s important for so many reasons. Maybe they see this and change it up and next season they’ll have something new to offer the rest of us. That said - the place is packed and everyone is fantastic. It’s clearly a great place just not for anyone who requires dietary restrictions.
